OMS Solution Architect


Whitehall Resources require an OMS Solution Architect to work with a key client on an initial 3-month contract.


*This role will involve some hybrid on site work in London.


*Inside IR35.


OMS Solution Architect


Must have experience/skills:
* Min 12-15 years of overall IT experience
* Min 5-10+ years of experience in Architecture of OMS Systems.
* Min 5+ experience in leading and mentoring team
* Strong experience of 2+ implementation of IBM Sterling OMS for medium to large retailers.
* Should have worked in latest version of IBM Sterling OMS
* Strong Retail Specific Order Management System Domain Experience
* Strong Retail Commerce Domain Experience
* In-depth knowledge of Order Management Foundation modules of Distributed Order Management, Supply Collaboration, Inventory Visibility, Payment Processing, Reverse Logistics.
* Strong experience in analysing technical architecture and designing business modules using OMS API s and Services.
* Strong design and build experience for IBM Sterling OMS and IBM Sterling Call Centre application including all type of product customisation
* Good experience to CI-CD processes and sound knowledge of IBM Sterling OMS and Call centre for process including Build & Deployment.
* Experience in staging technical workshops and leading audience toward desired outcomes.
* Strong communication and stakeholder mgmt. skills
* Correlation b/w Business and technology aspects


Nice to have experience:
* Experience in L2/L3 Support for IBM Sterling OMS and Call Centre applications
* Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
* Experience of working with collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence.
* Motivation to never stop learning in the omni-channel order management space.


Supervisory / Managerial responsibilities:
* 5-10+ years experience working in large transformation programs
* Previous role in a leadership position
* Strong experience of managing team of size 10-30
* Robust interpersonal skills
* Solid written and verbal communication skills
* Strong leadership skills
* A familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite
