Summary: The Offshore QA/QC Inspector role involves conducting safety checks and inspections on electrical, mechanical, and coatings aspects of new wind turbine installations off the East UK coast. The position requires delivering detailed inspection reports and providing technical advice, with a commitment to a 14/14 shift pattern for a minimum of 12 months. Candidates must possess relevant engineering qualifications and extensive experience in offshore environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out Electrical and/or Mechanical and/or Coatings Safety checks & inspections to required standards on new wind turbine installations.
- Deliver detailed inspection reports.
- Conduct risk assessments of electrical installations, mechanical equipment, and machinery.
- Act as an advisor providing technical and legislative advice as necessary.
Key Skills:
- NVQ4 / HND / HNC in relevant engineering discipline.
- Offshore Medical certification.
- Current GWO certificate (all 5 modules).
- Minimum 10 years relevant engineering/inspections experience, ideally in offshore windfarm installations.
- Current UK driving license.
- Proven technical knowledge and understanding.
- Excellent customer service manner with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Offshore QA/QC Inspector – multi-disciplined (GWO) £520 per day (outside IR35) + expenses + 14/14 shifts + October start + min 12-month contract
Offshore QA/QC Inspector responsibilities include:
- Carry out Electrical and/or Mechanical and/or Coatings Safety checks & inspections to required standards on a new wind turbine installation 60miles off East UK shores.
- Deliver detailed inspection reports.
- Dependent on your discipline, risk assessment of electrical installations / Mechanical equipment / machinery etc.
- Act as Advisor providing technical and legislative advice as necessary.
Offshore QA/QC Inspector profile;
- NVQ4 / HND / HNC in relevant engineering discipline.
- Off shore Medical.
- Previous or current GWO certificate (all 5 modules)
- Minimum 10yrs relevant engineering / inspections experience ideally having worked Offshore on Windfarm installations or similar highly regulated environment.
- Happy to commit to 14/14 shift pattern for 12 month rolling contract.
- Current UK driving license.
- Proven technical knowledge and understanding.
- Excellent customer service manner, with strong communications and interpersonal skills.
