Summary: The Offshore Installation Manager will oversee the technical and commercial aspects of foundation transportation and installation (T&I) in offshore wind projects. This role requires managing compliance, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring quality standards are met. The position is a 12-month PAYE contract and involves travel to various European locations. Candidates should have significant experience in offshore installation management and project management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage sub scopes of the Foundation T&I installation, including technical and commercial assessment of installation methodologies and equipment.
- Ensure quality and safety compliance of T&I contractor's documentation.
- Coordinate Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) acceptance and sourcing.
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders to manage schedule, cost, technical, quality, and safety aspects of T&I execution.
- Ensure all loadout, transport, and installation tasks meet Ørsted standards through physical attendance.
- Capture and communicate lessons learned and provide input to R&D, O&M, and other stakeholders.
