About The Role
The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) is the organisation through which the Mayor of London exercises his role as the Police and Crime Commissioner for London and is led by the Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime. MOPAC undertakes a broad range of statutory duties and works closely with the Mayor of London, Deputy Mayor and Metropolitan Police Service to deliver the priorities that will create safer London communities.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Programme Manager to lead the end-to-end relocation of MOPAC from our current premises to our new office location within the same London Borough of Southwark. This is a high-profile, strategic role working closely with the Chief Executive, Board and Senior Leadership Team to shape the future working environment for MOPAC. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the move, from commercial agreements and office design through to operational transition and post-move assurance, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum value for our people and the organisation. You will have proven experience managing and influencing senior stakeholders and external partners, and be able to provide clear, evidence-based advice to support decision-making at the highest level. You will bring strong leadership and initiative, with demonstrable experience in facilities management, workplace transformation or office relocation projects. You will also have sound financial and commercial management skills, including budget and contract management, and a clear commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility in the design and delivery of modern, collaborative and flexible working environments.
Please note, this role will require frequent office attendance at our Union Street Office.
