Band 6 Rotation Acute and Community sites. We are looking for Occupational therapists with excellent communication skills to join our expanding band 6 rotation in the trust. This is a fixed term contract to cover a secondment. We are extremely lucky in that we have a wide variety of options available on our rotation to meet your career and development needs. The rotation consists of acute rotations including the large stroke unit. We have a large amount of community rotation options which include rehab and long term conditions. We have well established links with community partners and have options for exploring additional options on the rotation, should you be keen. Currently we are exploring expansion of the rotation into paediatrics with our community partners. You will have an excellent opportunity to develop your knowledge and specialist skills and to further your career in a Band 6 post. We have an established cross site band 6 development programme and peer support group. The trust actively support access to external courses and training. The posts are for qualified Occupational Therapist with an interest in developing specialist skills in neurology and experience at Band 5 or Band 6 level. A professional attitude is essential along with the skills to work in a busy, fast paced setting.

The Rotations Rotations into 8 different speciality areas: Stroke Unit (UHL Community UCR therapy team Community D2A Neuro Outliers (including ITU and Trauma caseload) Acute Medicine Acute COE Acute ED Acute Frailty Rotation in development Paediatrics - Lewisham community.

Candidates Essential Experience Required Post-graduate clinical experience working as a Band 5 Occupational Therapist Evidence of participation in In-service training and Personal CPD HCPC registration and RCOT/BAOT membership Candidates must have a professional, enthusiastic, friendly and flexible approach Working days and or shift patterns will be agreed by the line manager to meet the needs of the service, including shift patterns over 7 day period covering 8am-8pm in some services.
