Summary: The role of Occupational Therapist in a Band 5 Mental Health and Learning Disabilities rotation offers a unique opportunity for newly qualifying or registered therapists to enhance their skills while working with individuals facing mental health challenges and learning disabilities. The position involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess and support clients' rehabilitation needs through meaningful interventions. The initial placement is within the North East Essex Community Adult Occupational Therapy Team, with potential for further rotations across various clinical areas. Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the Occupational Therapy team and the wider multidisciplinary team.

  • Engage in meaningful treatment interventions across inpatient and community settings.
  • Participate in rotational opportunities following the initial placement.
