Summary: The Observability & Telemetry Lead role is a contract position based in Knutsford, focusing on enhancing Enterprise-as-a-Service (EaaS) capabilities. The candidate will leverage their technical expertise in monitoring and diagnostics across Linux and Windows environments. This position requires a strong background in programming and database management, along with experience in various monitoring tools. The role is hybrid, requiring on-site presence two days a week until December 31, 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the evolution of Enterprise-as-a-Service (EaaS) capabilities.
- Utilize technical expertise in monitoring, infrastructure observability, and full-stack diagnostics.
- Work across both Linux and Windows environments.
- Implement and manage observability strategies using various monitoring tools.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in PHP or Python programming.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle and other relational databases.
- Comfortable working in both Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, ITRS, Elastic APM, and Grafana.
- Frontend/Backend development experience with Angular and Node.js (desirable).
- Familiarity with APIs, ETL pipelines, and general scripting (desirable).
- Understanding of modern infrastructure and containerized environments such as OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes (desirable).
- Knowledge of Cloud service models: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS (desirable).
- Concepts in infrastructure virtualization (desirable).
