Summary: The Observability and Telemetry Lead role is a contract position based in Knutsford, requiring a hybrid working arrangement of 2 to 3 days per week on-site. The contract is set to run until December 31, 2025, and the position is classified as inside IR35. The role demands expertise in observability tools and programming languages, particularly PHP or Python, along with experience in database management and system monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the evolution of EaaS (Everything as a Service).
  • Utilize PHP or Python for development tasks.
  • Manage and optimize Oracle and other relational databases.
  • Oversee system operations on Linux and Windows platforms.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, ITRS, Elastic APM, and Grafana.

Key Skills:

  • EaaS Evolution.
  • Working Experience on PHP or Python.
  • Knowledge of Oracle and other relational Databases.
  • Well versed in working on Linux and Windows System.
  • Experience on Monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, ITRS, Elastic APM, Grafana, etc.
  • Good to have: Working experience in Angular, NodeJS, etc.
  • Good to have: Working experience on APIs, ETL processes and scripting.
  • Good to have: Good understanding of Openshift, Docker, Kubernetes, Containerization and Cloud models - IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Infrastructure virtualization.

Salary (Rate): £368 daily
