Summary: The Observability and Telemetry Lead role is a contract position based in Knutsford, requiring a hybrid working arrangement of 2 to 3 days per week on-site. The role focuses on leveraging observability tools and technologies, with a strong emphasis on PHP or Python, and involves working with various monitoring tools and cloud models. Candidates should possess relevant experience in both Linux and Windows systems, as well as database management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the observability and telemetry initiatives within the organization.
- Utilize monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, ITRS, Elastic APM, and Grafana.
- Work on EaaS evolution and develop solutions using PHP or Python.
- Manage and optimize relational databases, including Oracle.
- Collaborate on APIs, ETL processes, and scripting tasks.
- Implement and maintain containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Engage with cloud models including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
Key Skills:
- Experience with PHP or Python programming.
- Knowledge of Oracle and other relational databases.
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows systems.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, ITRS, Elastic APM, and Grafana.
- Working experience in Angular and NodeJS is a plus.
- Understanding of APIs, ETL processes, and scripting.
- Good knowledge of Openshift, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud models.
Salary (Rate): £368 daily
