Summary: The NVH Test Engineer role involves overseeing vehicle preparation and testing within a Semi-Anechoic Chamber, utilizing LMS software for data acquisition and validation. The position requires significant experience in operating 4wd chassis dynamometers and proficiency in noise and vibration measurement techniques. This contract role is based in Warwickshire and is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of vehicle preparation and testing in the Vehicle Semi-Anechoic Chamber.
  • Acquire and validate test data using LMS software before releasing it to NVH attribute teams.
  • Conduct dynamic and static test activities at both vehicle and system levels.

Key Skills:

  • Understanding of rig/vehicle based NVH data acquisition.
  • Experience in a rig/vehicle test environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety risk assessments.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent operational experience.
  • Significant experience with 4wd chassis dynamometers.
  • Proficiency in acquiring NVH data using Siemens LMS software.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills for NVH test data.
  • Good knowledge of vehicle components and subsystems.
  • Proficient in noise and vibration measurement techniques.
  • PC literate with knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word & Excel.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for presenting complex information.

Salary (Rate): £27.21
