Nutanix Storage & VMware Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Nutanix storage & VMware Engineer in Brentwood, TN.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day operational support for VMware ESXi and Nutanix environments on-premise
• Manage and troubleshoot Nutanix storage replication technologies
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness of virtual infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business-critical applications
• Document procedures and maintain system configuration records

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven hands-on experience with VMware ESXi in an enterprise on-prem environment
• Deep expertise in Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of Nutanix storage replication technologies (e.g., Async DR, Metro Availability, NearSync)
• Ability to troubleshoot complex virtualization issues independently
• Experience with Prism Central and other Nutanix management tools
• Strong scripting or automation skills are a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) or VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
• Experience in fast-paced, high-availability environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
