Summary: The Nutanix Engineer role focuses on managing and implementing Nutanix Hyperconverged solutions within the banking sector. The position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure quality and reliability of solutions while adhering to internal policies and best practices. The engineer will also be responsible for maintaining documentation and applying AGILE methodologies to engineering deliverables. This is a 6-month contract position based in Birmingham, working in a hybrid model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret business requirements and produce technical solution documentation.
  • Champion Nutanix technologies and interact with other teams on Nutanix solutions.
  • Ensure quality and reliability of delivered solutions in compliance with internal policies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams to maintain and operate the environment.
  • Adhere to SDLC processes and company engineering practices.
  • Apply AGILE methodologies to engineering deliverables.
  • Maintain/create documentation for Citrix services and tools.

Key Skills:

  • Design, engineer, and maintain AHV, Files, and Prism deployments globally.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues within Nutanix HCI and virtualization infrastructure.
  • Experience with Citrix DaaS and hybrid cloud platforms.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Knowledge of REST, JSON, XML, and PowerShell (nice to have).
  • Broad understanding of HCI architecture and hybrid cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with network protocols and firewalls.

Nutanix Engineer – Virtual Platforms Hybrid / 3 days week Birmingham 6-Month Contract - Inside IR35 Banking Sector

Have a broad understanding of all Nutanix Hyperconverged solutions. Interpret business requirements and produce technical solution documentation. Champion Nutanix technologies. Interact with other teams and departments on Nutanix solutions Ensure quality and reliability of the delivered solutions and adherence to best practices and standards, in compliance with DB internal policies. Constantly collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams supporting them to maintain and operate the environment. Ensuring adherence to the SDLC processes and other company prescribed engineering and release management practices. Apply AGILE methodologies to engineering deliverables. Maintain / create documentation for Citrix services and tools.

Required skills :
