Position: Nursery Teacher

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (with occasional flexibility)

The Role:

As a Nursery Teacher, you will play a key role in providing a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children aged 2-5 years. You will plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning, growth, and development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate, engaging, and effective lessons based on the EYFS curriculum.
• Foster a nurturing and safe environment that encourages children's emotional, social, and cognitive development.
• Observe and assess children's progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers.
• Work collaboratively with other nursery staff to create a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Support the development of children's independence, self-confidence, and social skills.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Ensure compliance with all safeguarding and health & safety regulations.

What We're Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with a relevant qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., QTS, NQT, Level 3 or above).
• Experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting is preferred.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A proactive, creative, and flexible approach to teaching.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
