Summary: The Nuclear Quality Systems Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining quality management systems in compliance with nuclear industry standards for a company specializing in actuation solutions for nuclear power plants. This role is based in Bath and is offered on a minimum 12-month contract with a competitive day rate. The position requires expertise in quality management, compliance, and supplier management within the nuclear sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with nuclear industry standards (ISO 9001, ASME NQA-1, etc.).
- Conduct internal/external audits to ensure adherence to regulatory and industry requirements.
- Monitor suppliers and drive continuous improvement in quality systems.
- Support risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
- Maintain quality records and provide training on standards and best practices.
Key Skills:
- Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) in the nuclear industry.
