Summary: The Nuclear HVAC Engineer role is designed for a Mechanical Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the Nuclear or highly regulated industries. The position requires proficiency in mechanical documentation and HVAC design, along with experience in risk analysis tools. This hybrid role is based in the North West, requiring two days a week in the office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an HNC qualification, with an HND being advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as a Mechanical Engineer within the Nuclear or highly regulated industries.
  • Produce mechanical documentation.
  • Conduct risk analysis using tools such as HAZOP and HAZID.
  • Design and document HVAC systems.

Key Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
  • Experience in Nuclear, Defence, Oil and Gas, or Pharmaceuticals industries.
  • Proficient in mechanical documentation production.
  • Minimum HNC qualification; HND is advantageous.
  • Experience with risk analysis tools - HAZOP and HAZID.
  • HVAC design and documentation experience preferred.

Salary (Rate): £50 per hour

Essential Requirements:
10+ years experience working as a Mechanical Engineer
Experience working on projects within the Nuclear or other highly regulated experience (Defence, Oil and Gas or Pharmaceuticals)
Proficient in the production of mechanical documentation
HNC minimum HND would be advantageous
Previous experience with risk analysis tools - HAZOP and HAZID
Experience with HVAC design and documentation would be preferable
