Fixed Term Contract: 12 months Join Princess Yachts as an NSO Designer and play a key role in delivering custom solutions for a world-leading luxury brand. Working within our NSO team, you’ll collaborate with designers and engineers to develop tailored design options—taking concepts from initial feasibility through to CAD development, production, and final fit-out.

What you'll be doing:

  • Use a range of applications to carry out investigations, including NPI (Boat Specification), Chess (Bill of Materials), OMS (Sales Request Database), and Siemens NX.
  • Apply strong concept design skills and creative thinking to develop solutions.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Siemens NX.
  • Manage your own workload effectively.
  • Support other departments when required (e.g. Sales and Shop Floor).
  • Produce accurate models from both new designs and previously developed options.
  • Liaise with suppliers as needed.
  • Prepare clear and concise investigation summaries suitable for Sales, CAD, Production, and Fit-Out teams.
  • Ensure all relevant teams are properly informed and instructed to achieve right-first-time design solutions.
  • Investigation summaries may include sketches, 2D and 3D mock-ups, fitting instructions, and purchased product specifications.
  • Ensure all non-standard kits and designs comply with development standards.
  • Act as an ambassador for Princess Yachts, promoting the company in line with its values.

What we're looking for:
