Summary: The NPI Quality Engineer role at Amoria Bond involves a 6-month contract focused on ensuring the quality and performance of automotive components for a major manufacturer in the West Midlands. Candidates should possess a strong background in quality engineering, particularly in the automotive sector, and demonstrate effective project management skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Confirm specifications for performance, quality, durability, and fault finding of automotive components.
- Self-manage and maintain a track record of project control.
- Engage in new product introduction (NPI) processes.
- Collaborate with customers to ensure quality standards are met.
Key Skills:
- NPI (new product introduction) experience.
- Customer-facing experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Quality Engineering experience.
- Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, FMEA.
- Familiarity with IATF16949, ISO9001, and TS16949 standards.
- Understanding of metal forming and fabrication processes.
- Leadership experience.
- Minimum HNC level in Engineering/Manufacturing discipline.
- QA qualification (IQA/CQI) is desirable but not essential.
