Non-exclusives - Engineer Surveyor / Inspector - Loler

Summary: Bureau Veritas is seeking qualified Engineer Surveyors to provide statutory inspection services for lifting equipment in Scotland, specifically under LOLER and PUWER regulations. The role involves conducting high-quality inspections, producing reports, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. This position allows for flexibility in working with multiple clients while leveraging Bureau Veritas' extensive project pipeline. The anticipated workload is expected to last for a minimum of six months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct statutory inspections of lifting equipment including MEWPS, HIAB, Cranes, and FLTs.
• Ensure compliance with current regulatory and statutory requirements under LOLER and PUWER.
• Produce and deliver inspection reports using Bureau Veritas’ tools for on-site reporting.
• Operate within agreed authorities, inspection, and health & safety standards.
• Maintain a clear customer focus and drive for optimal service delivery.

Key Skills:

• Experience as an Engineer Surveyor.
• Current UK driving licence.
• Flexibility to travel according to client demand.
• Ability to produce detailed inspection reports.
• Knowledge of LOLER and PUWER regulations.
