Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and develop tooling and pipelines for data ingestion and modeling.
  • Work collaboratively within the Back End engineering team.
  • Configure, deploy, and monitor applications and websites on AWS.
  • Optimize performance with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Implement automated testing and continuous integration practices.

Key Skills:

  • Significant commercial experience with Node.js.
  • Strong experience with JavaScript, ideally ES6/7 features.
  • Experience with Vue, Express, or Sequelize.
  • Familiarity with AWS for application deployment and monitoring.
  • Comfortable with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of web design patterns, including SOLID principles.
  • Experience in a collaborative, agile team environment.
  • Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD practices.

NodeJS Developer - Data - TDD - AWS - 6 months - Paying up to £600 (Outside IR35) - Hybrid

You will be an integral part of the Back End engineering team, building and developing the tooling and pipelines that form their data ingestion and modelling machine.

Essential Skills:

  • Must have signficant commercial experience with Node.JS
  • Must have strong commercial experience with JavaScript ideally with ES6/7 features
  • Also experience in Vue, Express or Sequelize
  • Previous experience configuring, deploying, and monitoring applications and websites on AWS.
  • You're comfortable working with relational and NoSQL databases, including complex queries and performance optimisation.
  • Understand web design patterns, including SOLID principle and you have experience working in a collaborative, agile team environment.
  • Familiar with automated testing and continuous integration and delivery practices
