Summary: The NodeJS Developer role involves being a key member of the backend engineering team, focusing on the development of tooling and pipelines for data ingestion and modeling. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain tooling and pipelines for data ingestion and modeling.
- Work collaboratively within the backend engineering team.
- Configure, deploy, and monitor applications and websites on AWS.
- Optimize performance with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Implement automated testing and continuous integration/delivery practices.
Key Skills:
- Significant commercial experience with Node.JS.
- Strong experience with JavaScript, ideally ES6/7 features.
- Experience with Vue, Express, or Sequelize.
- Familiarity with AWS for application deployment and monitoring.
- Understanding of web design patterns, including SOLID principles.
- Experience in a collaborative, agile team environment.
- Knowledge of automated testing and CI/CD practices.

You will be an integral part of the backend engineering team, building and developing the tooling and pipelines that form their data ingestion and modelling machine. Paying up to £650 (Inside IR35) depending on experience.
Essential Skills:
- Must have signficant commercial experience with Node.JS
- Must have strong commercial experience with JavaScript ideally with ES6/7 features
- Also experience in Vue, Express or Sequelize
- Previous experience configuring, deploying, and monitoring applications and websites on AWS.
- You're comfortable working with relational and NoSQL databases, including complex queries and performance optimisation.
- Understand web design patterns, including SOLID principle and you have experience working in a collaborative, agile team environment.
- Familiar with automated testing and continuous integration and delivery practices
