Summary: The NodeJS Developer role involves being a key member of the backend engineering team, focusing on the development of tooling and pipelines for data ingestion and modeling. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain tooling and pipelines for data ingestion and modeling.
- Configure, deploy, and monitor applications and websites on AWS.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases, optimizing complex queries for performance.
- Collaborate within an agile team environment, adhering to web design patterns and principles.
- Implement automated testing and continuous integration/delivery practices.
Key Skills:
- Significant commercial experience with Node.js.
- Strong experience with JavaScript, ideally with ES6/7 features.
- Experience with Vue, Express, or Sequelize.
- Familiarity with AWS for application deployment and monitoring.
- Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of web design patterns, including SOLID principles.
- Experience in a collaborative, agile team environment.
- Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD practices.
