Summary: The Network Engineer role involves managing the setup, security, and operations of IT and OT networks across multiple European countries. The position requires supporting daily operations, resolving network incidents, and contributing to system deployments. Candidates should be fluent in Dutch or French and possess basic technical skills in networking. The role also includes participation in a 24/7 support environment and may require travel to Belgian sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily operations within our IT and OT network environments.
- Analyse and resolve network incidents and technical issues.
- Prepare and execute network changes with high accuracy.
- Contribute to deployments and maintenance of new systems.
- Work closely with colleagues in Belgium and across Europe.
- Participate in a 24/7 support environment.
Key Skills:
- Fluent in Dutch or French, and strong in English.
- Team player who can also work independently.
- First relevant work experience.
- Willing to travel to Belgian sites and have your own car.
- Basic routing & switching knowledge (CCNA level).
- Experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Check Point).
- Comfortable with Cisco CLI.
- Familiar with Python.
- Experience with monitoring tools, NAC, central syslog, and authentication systems.
- OT experience is a plus.
- Background in computer science is an advantage.
