NOC Engineer / Network Engineer @ Brussels

Summary: The Network Engineer role involves managing the setup, security, and operations of IT and OT networks across multiple European countries. Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily operations within our IT and OT network environments.
• Analyse and resolve network incidents and technical issues.
• Prepare and execute network changes with high accuracy.
• Contribute to deployments and maintenance of new systems.
• Work closely with colleagues in Belgium and across Europe.
• Participate in a 24/7 support environment.

Key Skills:

• Fluent in Dutch or French, and strong in English.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• First relevant work experience.
• Willing to travel to Belgian sites and have your own car.
• Basic routing & switching knowledge (CCNA level).
• Experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Check Point).
• Comfortable with Cisco CLI.
• Familiar with Python.
• Experience with monitoring tools, NAC, central syslog, and authentication systems.
• OT experience is a plus.
• Background in computer science is an advantage.

The team of our client manages the setup, security, and operations of IT and OT networks across Belgium, France, the UK, Germany, and Switzerland. We support both industrial and office environments and contribute to projects such as datacenter connectivity, cloud security, and WAN modernization.
