Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and run test scripts based on technical designs (HLD/LLD) for network infrastructure like routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Execute and track test phases like Unit testing, System Integration, Functional & Non-functional, Disaster Recovery, and Operational Acceptance.
  • Use ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) tools to manage and report on test cases and defects.
  • Provide test evidence and track execution in ALM.
  • Deliver test cases/scripts created from technical documentation.
  • Link tests to requirements in ALM.
  • Regularly report on test results and defects.
  • Contribute to overall testing strategy and evidence collection.

Key Skills:

  • Proficient in Cisco router/switch console commands.
  • Familiarity with data centre procedures and fibre optic cabling.
  • Experience with RFC 2544 testing setup (performance benchmarking of network devices).
  • Use of Network/Service Management tools (e.g., StableNet).
