I am hiring for Network Security & Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer (IDS, Proxy & Cloud Networking)
Location: Knutsford - Hybrid / 3 days Per Week in Office
Hands-on experience with IDS/IPS technologies such as Snort, Suricata, Zeek, Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto Threat Prevention, or similar platforms.
Strong packet capture and traffic analysis skills using tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, or equivalent.
Experience supporting enterprise proxy technologies such as Zscaler, Blue Coat, or similar secure web gateways.
Strong JavaScript skills for PAC file development and understanding of proxy routing logic.
Solid knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, SSL/TLS certificates, and proxy chaining.
Strong understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking including TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, NAT, and VPN technologies.
Experience with enterprise networking platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, or Meraki.
Experience with cloud networking constructs including Azure VNets, AWS VPCs, peering, routing tables, NSGs, NACLs, and load balancers.
Familiarity with SIEM platforms and forwarding IDS or network logs for analysis and correlation.
