Network Security Engineer (SC Cleared)

Summary: The role of Security Engineer involves working with various networking and security technologies, including F5 Load Balancers, Cisco, and Juniper products. The position is contract-based and requires active SC clearance. The candidate should have detailed experience in supporting multiple security solutions and a solid understanding of networking technologies. Occasional visits to a southern data center are expected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and manage F5 Load Balancers, Cisco, Juniper, and Checkpoint Firewalls.
• Develop high-level and low-level designs for network security solutions.
• Provide detailed experience in supporting Checkpoint, Juniper, Bluecoat, and F5 technologies.
• Understand and implement Cisco networking solutions, including major switching families.
• Manage Wireless Technologies and Cisco IPT/QoS/802.1x/Inflobox DNS.
• Implement VPN Technologies including IPSec, SSL VPN, DMVPN, and WAN technologies.
• Utilize routing protocols effectively in network design and implementation.

Key Skills:

• Active SC Clearance.
• Experience with F5 Load Balancers.
• Knowledge of Cisco and Juniper networking solutions.
• Experience with Checkpoint Firewalls.
