Summary: The Network Security Engineer Level 3 role involves implementing firewall change requests and managing related router changes within a hybrid working environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Implement firewall change requests and related L2/L3 router changes.
• Create and install Checkpoint objects for initial firewall policy.
• Build and configure firewall devices (Checkpoint, Juniper, Cisco).
• Build and configure proxies and IDS.
• Provide troubleshooting in security environments, fault escalation, and connectivity issues.
• Liaise with carriers and vendors for installations.
• Manage change request systems and network monitoring/management tools.
• Follow documented deployment processes and ITIL service management principles.

Key Skills:

• Solid industry experience in networking and network security.
• Proficiency in Checkpoint, Juniper, and Cisco firewalls.
• Certified security engineer (CCSE or comparable).
• Certified technical engineer (Cisco CCNP or comparable).
• Understanding of loop prevention protocols and troubleshooting routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, RIP).
• Experience with Linux/UNIX.
• Knowledge of IOS/operating systems and CatOS troubleshooting.
• Understanding of trunking protocols (VTP, 802.1Q).
• Good communication skills in English and local language.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to work in virtual global teams.
