Summary: The Network Security Engineer Level 3 role involves implementing Firewall change requests and managing related Router changes within a hybrid working environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Implement Firewall change requests and related L2/L3 Router changes.
• Create and install Checkpoint objects for Firewall policy.
• Build and configure Firewall devices (Checkpoint, Juniper, Cisco).
• Build and configure Proxies and IDS.
• Provide troubleshooting in security environments and manage fault escalation.
• Liaise with carriers and vendors for installations.
• Utilize networking technology skills and cross-platform technologies.
• Manage change request systems and network monitoring/management tools.
• Follow documented deployment processes and ITIL service management principles.
• Work effectively in virtual global teams within a Matrix organization.

Key Skills:

• Solid industry experience in networking and Network Security.
• Checkpoint, Juniper, Cisco Firewall expertise.
• Certified security engineer (CCSE or comparable).
• Certified technical engineer (Cisco CCNP or comparable).
• Operational knowledge of loop prevention protocols and routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, RIP).
• Experience with Linux/UNIX.
• Understanding of Firewalls and different deployment architectures.
• Good communication skills in local language and English (written/verbal).
