Summary: The role of Network Security Engineer involves managing and enhancing network security for a contract position based in Cheshire. The position offers a daily rate of £475 and requires a hybrid working arrangement. Candidates should possess strong expertise in network security fundamentals and relevant technologies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience in network security, with a strong understanding of network security fundamentals, encryption technologies, and secure network design principles.
  • Zscaler Private Access & Internet Access.
  • Proficiency in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Firewalls, including Cisco and Palo Alto.
  • Experience with intrusion detection/prevention systems, as well as with SIEM tools and security incident response.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, including penetration testing and vulnerability assessments, to identify and remediate potential security risks.
  • Design and implement secure network architectures, including Firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption technologies.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in network security.
  • Strong understanding of network security fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of encryption technologies.
  • Experience with secure network design principles.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing Firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto).

Exalto Consulting are currently recruiting for a contract network security engineer, this is initially 6 months paying £475 a day depending on experience. This is hybrid working in Cheshire 2/3 days a week.

Essential skills for the roles:

  • Proven experience in network security, with a strong understanding of network security fundamentals, encryption technologies, and secure network design principles.
  • Zscaler Private Access & Internet Access
  • Proficiency in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Firewalls. Cisco, Palo Alto etc,.
