p>We are looking for a highly skilled Network Security Architect to join our team. If you're passionate about network security and possess deep expertise in network access control (NAC) and/or network segmentation, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain network security controls to protect the company's IT infrastructure.
- Develop and enforce network access control (NAC) policies, ensuring that only authorized devices and users can access the network.
- Create, manage, and optimize network segmentation strategies to minimize security risks and reduce attack surfaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security protocols across networks.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, identifying and mitigating risks within the network architecture.
- Monitor and respond to network-related security incidents, providing analysis and implementing appropriate remediation.
- Support network security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously evaluate emerging network security trends and technologies, advising on potential improvements to the current security posture.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network security architecture/engineering.
- Expertise in network access control (NAC) technologies such as Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with network segmentation practices - Illumio, VLANs, and Firewall configurations.
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and routing protocols.
- Familiarity with security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST) and regulatory requirements (GDPR, PCI-DSS).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with experience in security incident response.
- Certifications such as CCNA Security, CISSP, or similar are a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with technical and non-technical teams.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Onsite based role in Sheffield - must be UK based and able to attend office 3 days a week - 700 per day inside IR35
