Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and improve security systems using tools like Illumio, VMware NSX, or similar.
  • Manage firewall rules and security policies across different vendors (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco, Check Point, Fortinet).
  • Apply Zero Trust security principles to protect networks and systems.
  • Work with VLAN segmentation, Software-Defined Networking (SDN), and cloud security tools.
  • Secure cloud and hybrid environments, including Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop security solutions.
  • Create and document security models to ensure automation and efficiency.
  • Automate security tasks using Terraform, Python, and security platforms like SOAR and SIEM.
  • Follow security regulations like NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS.
  • Collaborate with security, network, DevOps, and compliance teams to improve security practices.
