Summary: The Network Infrastructure Engineer - F5 role requires extensive expertise in F5 BIG-IP technologies and strong practical experience with CI/CD tools. Key Responsibilities:
- Extensive expertise across F5 BIG-IP technologies including LTM, DNS/GTM, APM, and Advanced WAF.
- Strong practical experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and version control platforms like GitHub.
- Hands-on knowledge of F5 automation and orchestration capabilities, particularly Declarative Onboarding (DO) and Application Services 3 Extension (AS3).
- Solid Scripting and automation capabilities using Python.
- Experience integrating enterprise platforms and building scalable automation workflows.
- Familiarity with the AppViewX ADC+ ecosystem and related automation tooling.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, and Firewall connectivity.
- Exposure to cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure environments including IaaS and container-based platforms.
- Knowledge of both on-premise datacentre environments and modern cloud deployments.
- Understanding of operational resilience, governance, and security best practices.
- Experience working within Agile environments alongside DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Proficiency with Jira and other delivery management or DevOps collaboration tools.
