Summary: The role involves recruiting four Network Engineers for a long-term MOD project based in Wiltshire, focusing on the design, development, and validation of networking components. Candidates must possess SC clearance and have extensive experience in networking technologies. The position is expected to last between 1 to 2 years or more, with a daily rate of £570 to £620. The role is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• The design, development, building and validation of all networking components which form part of the Platform.
• Production and review of all levels of design artefacts.
• Supporting wider system testing activities.
• Working with Service Management to resolve issues.

Key Skills:

• Demonstrable experience of at least 3 years within the industry with detailed knowledge and understanding of the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of hierarchical IP subnetting, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and advanced knowledge of routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Core network technologies and infrastructure including Cisco Nexus, Cisco IOS XE, Leaf and Spine network architecture, VXLAN Overlay networks, Dual Cloud Dual Hub DMVPN Solutions, Firewall IPS/IDS, AAA Management Platform (e.g., ISE), and VXLAN.
• All aspects of QOS (Traffic Shaping / Policing / Scheduling / Congestion Management and Avoidance).
• At least one of the following professional certifications obtained within the last five years: CCNP or similar, VMware VCP-NV.
