Summary: The Network Engineer role focuses on designing, modifying, and implementing network and security configurations, particularly within Fortinet and Cisco environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, write, and validate configurations for:
- Fortinet SD-WAN solutions
- Fortinet Firewalls
- Cisco Nexus Switches
- Cisco LAN and Wi-Fi infrastructure
- Modify and optimize configurations on existing network equipment.
- Prepare and implement configurations for new network hardware.
- Load configurations onto network devices and perform validation testing.
- Support network changes, cutovers, and migrations.
- Implement general routing and switching configurations.
- Design and apply Firewall and network security policies.
- Troubleshoot configuration-related issues during and after implementation.
- Create and maintain accurate technical documentation.
- Support project timelines and work closely with the Project Manager.
