Summary: The Network Engineer – SC Cleared position involves working closely with support teams to ensure the seamless integration of project work into the Run service. The role requires extensive experience in network engineering, including equipment installations, configuration activities, and infrastructure surveys. Candidates must be SC cleared and will work under an umbrella company due to the role being inside IR35. The position is hybrid-remote based in Cumbria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertaking a range of equipment installations and configuration activities for complex or high business impact solutions.
- Performing infrastructure surveys, wired and wireless.
- Get involved in office moves, adds, changes.
- Perform technical refresh of network hardware and cabling.
- Configuring core infrastructure components e.g. Switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, voice systems etc.
- Performing impact assessments on large or complex networks.
- Performing testing to predetermined plans and analyse results.
Key Skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in Network Engineering roles.
- Demonstrable experience of configuring Network systems, switching, routing, firewalling, load balancing, and voice.
- Typically qualified to Cisco CCNA level or vendor equivalent accreditations.
- Knowledge of networks including network security, VPN, converged networks, and broadband technologies.
- Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN/Voice network infrastructures for enterprise organizations.
- Understanding of racking, cabling, and containment systems and standards.
- Subject Matter Expert in one or more areas is an advantage.
- Demonstrates competencies associated with frequent change, urgency, and versatility.
- Aware of Company values and demonstrates adherence to them.

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Network Engineer – SC Cleared.
This role will be Inside of IR35, so you will be required to use an FCSA Accredited Umbrella Company.
Must not have been outside of the UK for more than 28 consecutive days in the last 5 years.
Key Requirements:
