We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer with experience in ISP Environments to join a Cisco Gold Partner in London. This project-focused role will mainly involve working outside normal business hours, and you will be responsible for delivering key tasks from start to finish as part of a collaborative team.

• Contract Duration: 3 months (Rolling)
• Working format: Hybrid (1 day on site - 4 days remote)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Day Rate: 350 - 400 Per Day (Outside IR35)
• Work Hours: Predominantly outside normal business hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver small to mid-sized projects assigned by the Network Manager.
• Perform weekly splitter upgrades during night shifts and ensure smooth completion.
• Conduct access and CPE software upgrades, resolving issues as they arise.
• Reprovision customer services impacted by fibre work on Nokia PON/XGS-PON equipment.
• Ensure no disruption to customer services after changes.
• Keep accurate records of upgrades and network issues.
• Monitor network alerts and perform maintenance tasks when needed.
• Attend office meetings for team collaboration.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience with Cisco core and access networks in an ISP environment.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ASR and NCS devices.
• Knowledge of BGP, OSPF/ISIS, MPLS on IOS-XR platforms.
• Experience with Nokia PON equipment (eg, FX-8 ISAM, PON CPEs).
• Strong network troubleshooting skills and experience with monitoring tools (eg, SolarWinds, Zabbix).
• Certifications: CCNP-SP, CCNA-SP, and Nokia PON-related certifications.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts.

Network Engineer (Nights) - Outside IR35 - 3 Month Rolling Contract
