Summary: The role of Network Engineer focuses on managing and implementing network solutions using technologies such as Juniper, Palo Firewall, Azure, F5, and SD-WAN. This position is based in North West London and involves a mix of on-site work and occasional travel. The initial contract is for three months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs. The candidate will primarily work on an SD-WAN migration project while also addressing smaller projects and technical queries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and implement Juniper networking solutions including EX, MX, SRX, BGP, OSPF, VRRP, VRFs, MPLS, and Cisco Networking EIGRP, VLANS, Switching.
- Configure and maintain Palo Firewall policies, NAT, routing, and user-id.
- Work with Azure services including Vnets, application gateway, Firewall, and routing.
- Utilize F5 LTM/APM/ASM for load balancing and application delivery.
- Document network designs and configurations.
- Assist with SD-WAN migration projects and provide support for smaller projects and technical queries.
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience with Juniper networking technologies.
- Proficient in Palo Firewall configurations.
- Knowledge of Azure networking services.
- Experience with F5 load balancing solutions.
- Strong documentation and network design skills.
- Ability to work on SD-WAN migration projects.
Salary (Rate): £500 per day

Initial 3 months - £450-£500 per day (inside IR35) - maximum of 2 days per week from North West London office and occasional travel to sites across London
Our North West London based Public Sector client have an urgent requirement for a Network Engineer (Juniper, Palo Firewall, Azure, F5, SD-WAN) to join on an initial 3 month basis. This might be extended, depending on the status of the programme.

The Network Engineer (Juniper, Palo Firewall, Azure, F5, SD-WAN) will have vast commercial experience of the following:
- Juniper networking, EX, MX, SRX, BGP, OSPF, VRRP, VRFs, MPLS, Cisco Networking EIGRP, VLANS, Switching
- Palo Firewall - Policies, NAT, Routing, user-id,
- Azure - Vnets, application gateway, Firewall, routing
- F5 LTM/APM/ASM
- Documentation and network design
- This will predominantly be working on SD-WAN migration project in addition with assistance with any smaller projects & technical queries
