Key Responsibilities:
- Support, maintain and deliver enterprise network infrastructure across BAU and new design initiatives.
- Act as the Network Engineer subject matter expert, independently delivering complex network configuration, security and infrastructure work.
- Ensure all network solutions meet industry, legislative and compliance standards.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs, options and impact analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation and evaluation of emerging technologies.
- Ensure alignment with digital strategy, identifying risks and mitigation strategies.
- Own quality assurance and impact analysis for changes to existing network services.
- Build and manage relationships with managed service providers, suppliers and partners.
- Participate in an on-call rota and travel across Warwickshire as required.
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco, Avaya telephony, Azure, AWS, ZScaler, SolarWinds and Sentinel.
- Solid knowledge of SD-WAN, VLANs, Azure vWAN and static/dynamic routing.
- Experience in network monitoring, service management and supplier engagement.
- Proven delivery of network infrastructure within large, complex organisations.
- Experience producing technical design documentation and service artefacts.
- Working knowledge of ITSM and ISO 20000 best practice.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder influencing skills.
- Ability to operate at, or work towards, Level 2 of the Competency and Values Framework (CVF).

This Network Engineer role sits within a strategy and architecture-focused team, delivering the design, build and ongoing improvement of secure, resilient physical and virtual networks aligned to business and digital strategy.
