Summary: The Network Engineer role is a 6-12 month contract based in Southampton, requiring core networking skills and Cisco certifications. The position involves hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office and one week of international travel every six weeks, all fully expensed. Candidates must possess extensive experience in Cisco switching and networking, as well as an understanding of Firewalls, particularly Palo Alto. This role is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and implement networking projects involving Cisco switching and routing.
• Work collaboratively as part of a project team, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
• Travel internationally for one week every six weeks, with all expenses covered.
• Maintain and support Firewalls, ideally Palo Alto, and have awareness of Telephony, SD Wans, and Wi-Fi.

Key Skills:

• CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE Cisco certification.
• Extensive experience with Cisco switching and networking.
• Understanding of Firewalls, particularly Palo Alto.
• Strong soft skills, including teamwork and flexibility.
• Current passport and ability to work internationally.
