Network Engineer

Summary: The Network Engineer role requires strong expertise in Cisco Catalyst switching and SD-WAN technologies, along with practical experience in network automation and security protocols. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Cisco Catalyst switching (IOS-XE), VLANs, STP, RSTP, port security, and QoS.
• Implement Cisco SD-WAN policies, VPN segmentation, and WAN edge configurations.
• Design, commission, and operate Cisco SD-Access (SDA) fabric.
• Oversee Cisco Catalyst Centre for device management and automation workflows.
• Understand OT network architecture and related protocols.
• Write Terraform configurations for infrastructure provisioning.
• Utilize CI/CD tooling for deployment processes.
• Automate network tasks using Python and/or Bash scripting.
• Troubleshoot network issues across Layers 2-7.
• Manage Cisco ISE for AAA, profiling, and TrustSec.
• Apply Ansible or Terraform for network configuration management.
• Work with Cisco NSO or RESTCONF/NETCONF interfaces.
• Engage with industrial cybersecurity frameworks and SCADA/ICS systems.
• Utilize network monitoring tools effectively.
