Summary: The role of Network Engineer involves joining a team in Barrow-in-Furness on a full-time, onsite basis for an initial six-month contract. Candidates must possess active SC clearance and sole British nationality, along with extensive experience in enterprise networks and specific technical certifications. Key Responsibilities:

• Support enterprise networks with valid networking technical certifications.
• Manage and support Cisco ACI software-defined networks (multi-site & multi-pod).
• Provide support for various firewalls including Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco Firepower, Cisco ASA & AnyConnect Remote Access.
• Troubleshoot and resolve routing issues (BGP, OSPF & EIGRP).
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).

Key Skills:

• Proven track record in supporting enterprise networks.
• Valid networking technical certifications.
• In-depth experience with Cisco ACI.
• Experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco Firepower, Cisco ASA & AnyConnect).
