As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructure for a high-performance and secure environment. This position involves managing all aspects of network systems, optimizing performance, and ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Network Design: Develop and implement network solutions to enhance performance, scalability, and security.
- Implementation: Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, including Routers, Switches, SDWAN, wireless networks, and OOB systems.
- Optimization: Configure routing, switching, and wireless technologies to meet organizational standards.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Analyze network performance metrics, identify vulnerabilities, and resolve outages or inefficiencies.
- Maintenance and Upgrades: Execute system updates, including patches, service packs, and security configurations.
- Documentation: Maintain network diagrams, technical records, and performance reports.
Desired Skills:
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and virtualization (AWS, Azure, VMware).
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a hands-on network engineer.
- Strong understanding of network operating systems (eg, Cisco IOS, Wireless, SilverPeak).
- Expertise in protocols such as IPSEC, BGP, OSPF, and QoS.
- Experience with network security principles and diagnostic tools (eg, SolarWinds, Cacti).
- CCNP certification or higher.
