Summary: The Network Engineer role requires a seasoned professional with 8-11 years of experience in implementing complex Data Centre Network Infrastructure and executing network project deployments. The position demands hands-on expertise with Cisco routers and switches, firewalls, and a strong understanding of networking protocols. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing network delivery projects while ensuring compliance with bank standards. Excellent communication and coordination skills are essential for liaising with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement complex Data Centre Network Infra and execute network project infrastructure deployment involving migration of applications with scripting knowledge.
- Hands-on working experience on Router and Switches: Cisco NX-OS & IOS-XE, Cisco ACI with scripting knowledge.
- Manage Firewall configurations: Fortinet, Juniper, Cisco.
- Project experience in migrating network infrastructure and application flow through firewalled environments.
- Demonstrate an expert understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP and Ethernet protocols.
- Expert design knowledge of IP-based networking architecture.
- Understanding of IGP & BGP IP Routing Protocol.
- Experience configuring Cisco ACI, NX & IOS-XE platforms.
- Deep expertise in Infrastructure Network and Security - Routing and Switching, Firewalls.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Network Hardware like Cisco NX-OS Switches, IOS-XE Switches, Cisco ACI, Fortinet, and Juniper Firewalls.
- Basic knowledge of scripting language Python.
- Proven experience in working on large-scale projects.
- Planning, coordination, and execution of assigned network delivery projects.
- Coordinate with internal/external vendors, internal bank personnel, and other stakeholders regarding network delivery matters.
- Ensure compliance with work carried out against bank standards, processes, and controls.
- Perform documentation, knowledge transfer, and handover to the operations team.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
