I’m currently hiring for a 12-month contract opportunity with Meta for a Network Production Engineer (IC5). This is a great opportunity for an experienced network engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of networking, Python, automation and large-scale infrastructure.

What we're looking for
- Strong Python development experience
- Strong networking fundamentals – BGP, MPLS, TCP/IP
- Experience with network automation & provisioning
- Strong Linux experience
- Experience with network devices – Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Nokia or similar
- Experience with Ansible / CI/CD is a plus
- Comfortable using AI tools to support coding and automation
What you'll be doing
- Building automation for network provisioning and deployment
- Developing automated testing frameworks for network platforms
- Troubleshooting complex network and software issues
- Supporting the qualification and rollout of new network products
- Working with engineering teams across different time zones
- Helping scale and automate a global network environment
