Summary: The Senior Cloud Network Engineer (GCP) role is a contract position based in London, focusing on enhancing networking within a large-scale Google Cloud platform. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement GCP networking solutions (VPCs, routing, segmentation)
- Build and manage hybrid connectivity (VPN, Interconnect, BGP)
- Configure and optimise load balancing solutions
- Support adoption of Google Network Connectivity Center (NCC)
- Troubleshoot complex network and connectivity issues
- Use Terraform to deploy and standardise network infrastructure
- Work closely with platform teams to ensure secure and scalable networking
Key Skills:
- Strong experience as a Network Engineer (cloud or enterprise)
- Hands-on experience with VPC / virtual network design
- Routing (including BGP)
- VPN / hybrid connectivity
- Load balancing
- Experience working in cloud environments (GCP, AWS or Azure)

The Role
We’re looking for a Cloud Network Engineer to support and evolve networking within a large-scale Google Cloud platform. This is a network-focused role , working on core connectivity, routing, and traffic management across cloud and hybrid environments. You’ll be part of a team underpinning a broader platform, where networking is critical to overall delivery.
