Summary: The role of Forescout Network Consultant involves providing operational support and management for Forescout NAC within a financial services environment. The position requires hands-on experience in network infrastructure and collaboration with various technology teams. The consultant will be responsible for supporting enterprise IT networks and assisting in design builds and troubleshooting. This is a hybrid role based in London, requiring specific technical expertise in networking and security practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and provide operational support for Forescout NAC.
  • Work as a hands-on NAC network engineer within a network infrastructure team.
  • Support all aspects of enterprise IT networks, including project engineering.
  • Assist in design builds involving network hardware, IP addressing, and firewall rule-sets.
  • Support wired and WiFi LAN environments.
  • Work with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and MFA.
  • Collaborate with peer infrastructure teams in an Azure cloud hosted environment.
  • Engage with global WAN providers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cabling, LAN/WAN, routing, WiFi, and firewall issues.
  • Maintain knowledge of networking protocols and IT security practices.
  • Utilize ServiceNow and LogicMonitor for operational support.
  • Work with Microsoft server technologies and virtualization platforms.
  • Possess relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CCNA, and CCNP.

  • Knowledge of Juniper, Cisco, Meraki, and Palo Alto technologies.

Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, are looking for a Forescout Network Consultant to join the team on a contract basis at their office in London - hybrid working

MUST HAVE FORESCOUT NAC EXPERIENCE

Key Skills:

  • Exper ience in the management and operational support of Forescout NAC
  • Experience working in a network infrastructure team as a hands-on NAC network engineer
  • Broad operational and project engineering support for all aspects of enterprise IT networks
  • Experience working with Juniper, Cisco, Meraki, AV systems such as MS Teams, and Palo Alto technologies
  • Experience assisting design builds including network hardware, IP addressing, firewall rule-sets, testing and roll-out
  • Experience working with wired and WiFi LANs
  • Experience supporting environments using Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and MFA
  • Experience working with peer infrastructure teams supporting an Azure cloud hosted environment
  • Experience working with global WAN providers
  • Experience working as part of network team responsible for an international enterprise network
