We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support a strategic network segmentation and application migration programme.
Summary
- Design: Create secure network zones using VLANs, subnets, and software-defined networking (SDN).
- Policy Enforcement: Write and manage Firewall rules, access control lists (ACLs), and micro-segmentation policies.
- Traffic Analysis: Monitor data flow to ensure security policies do not break business applications.
- Risk Mitigation: Isolate critical assets, IoT devices, and Legacy systems from the main corporate network.
- Collaboration: Work with security teams to respond to incidents and audit network boundaries.
Essential
- 5+ years' experience in enterprise network engineering.
- Strong understanding of:
- TCP/IP Networking
- Routing and switching
- Firewall technologies
- Network segmentation and security principles
- Application connectivity and traffic analysis
- Experience performing application dependency mapping and topology analysis.
- Experience producing low-level and high-level network designs.
- Experience planning and executing enterprise infrastructure changes.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
