Summary: The Network Engineer role involves implementing Cisco-based SD-WAN solutions for a major enterprise undergoing a network transformation. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement Cisco-based SD-WAN solutions across numerous sites
- Configure and deploy SD-WAN edge devices, circuits, and network infrastructure components
- Support migration from legacy WAN providers into a consolidated managed service environment
- Deliver against HLD/LLD designs during the implementation phase
- Perform advanced network troubleshooting across WAN/LAN environments
- Support cutovers, site migrations, and circuit activations in line with project timelines
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience as a Network Engineer working with Cisco technologies
- Demonstrable experience implementing Cisco SD-WAN / Viptela solutions
- Solid understanding of WAN technologies, routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF), VPNs, and MPLS environments
- Familiarity working in co-managed / MSP environments, collaborating with third-party providers
- Ability to work autonomously and hit the ground running
- Strong troubleshooting capability across complex, multi-site network environments
