Summary: The Field Engineer role at Adroit People involves ensuring project completion in alignment with client specifications and Vodafone's engineering standards. The position requires monitoring project progress, managing documentation, and providing quality communication to stakeholders. The engineer will also be responsible for 24/7 support activities and must demonstrate strong organizational and technical skills. This is a hybrid role based in Glasgow for a duration of three months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure projects are completed within time, cost, quality, and health & safety parameters.
  • Complete project documentation as required.
  • Monitor progress against plan and recommend corrective actions.
  • Identify issues and risks and escalate appropriately.
  • Provide timely and quality communication to all stakeholders.
  • Deliver technical, test, and quality plans to the project engineer.
  • Carry out necessary project administration.
  • Provide 1st line assurance activities on a 24/7 basis.
  • Report information and updates to Vodafone’s service support desk.
  • Complete nominated RMI activities as required.
  • Recommend improvements and cost reductions.
  • Respond and act promptly on all tasks.
  • Work as part of a team and independently.

Job Spec:

  • Key accountabilities and decision ownership
  • Ensure projects are completed in a manner that ensures delivery to the time, cost, quality, health & safety parameters agreed with the client whilst conforming to Vodafone’s project engineering standards and others as agreed with the client.
  • A requirement to complete project documentation as required by the project engineer.
  • Monitor progress against plan and recommend corrective actions.
  • Identify issues and risks and escalate appropriately.
  • Provide timely and quality communication to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure technical, test and quality plans as agreed are delivered to the project engineer.
  • Ensure the necessary project administration is carried out.
  • Provisions of 1st, line assure activities on 24 x 7 x 365 basis adhering to our agreed contractual SLA targets.
  • Reporting all information & updates to Vodafone’s service support desk.
