Network Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Configuring routers and switches in line with the design documents (IP data perspective).
• Onboarding devices onto network management platform.
• Racking and staking relevant devices in Data Centres.
• Attending internal meetings and working closely with the project managers to agree and deliver project implementation plan.
• Good knowledge of Cisco LAN and Wireless LAN technologies, including switching and IP addressing best practice.
• Self-motivating individual with the ability to develop strong customer relationships as well as functioning in a team environment.
• Good interpersonal skills with effective communication.
• Expert of Cisco routers and switches (examples: 3850s, Nexus 9k, ISRs, ASRs etc.).
• Experience in configuring networks in a managed data-networking environment coupled with a networking qualification.
