Summary: The Network Engineer role involves designing and implementing network infrastructure to ensure information integrity and availability. The position requires collaboration with the UC team for Microsoft Teams solutions and support for migrating Cisco UC infrastructure to cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement functional network infrastructure (routing, switching, Wi-Fi).
  • Work alongside the UC team on Microsoft Teams solutions.
  • Support migration of on-prem Cisco UC infrastructure to cloud solutions.
  • Implement QoS and manage Wide Area Network capacity planning and upgrades.
  • Rollout Cisco ThousandEyes monitoring across the network.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and outages, schedule upgrades.
  • Collaborate with network architects on optimization.
  • Update network equipment to the latest firmware releases.
  • Report network operational status and manage routing and switching projects.
  • Provide technical support and consultation for IT and end-user departments.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer focusing on routing, switching, Cisco WiFi.
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., QoS, BGP, OSPF, HSRP, 802.11, 802.1x, IPSEC).
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and network diagnostic tools including Cisco ThousandEyes.
  • Knowledge of Cisco SD-WAN, SD-Access, Catalysts Center, and ISE.
  • Network firewall policy administration experience.
  • Hands-on experience with automation/scripting and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
  • University degree in Computer Science or a related subject.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) preferred.
